Courses If you are considering signing onto an Open Water Course or fancy trying something different, why not try a Discover Scuba session? This is a fun experience taken to whatever level you feel comfortable at. There's no pressure for those of you who are less confident but plenty of opportunity for water babies! PRICE ..........£15.00 This session allows you 1 and 1/2 hours in the water to try the equipment, meet the team and learn to breathe underwater.
This is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for holidays or people who only plan to dive a couple of times a year. With Scuba Diver certification you can dive under the direct supervision of a Dive Master, Assistant Instructor or Instructor on your next holiday or dive trip. Throughout the course, you'll learn fundamentals of Scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You'll earn this rating by completing pool dives at one of our indoor training venues, knowledge development sessions and by making two open water dives at one of the UK outdoor training centres . The programme is performanced based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. PRICE ..........£
This course is a comprehensive (minimum 30 hour) entry-level Scuba diving qualification, which is recognised throughout the world. The course is designed to give you the required skills and knowledge to safely participate and enjoy Scuba Diving activities. Successful completion of the course will allow you to rent Scuba diving equipment and dive without an instructor present to a maximum depth of 18 metres. No previous knowledge or experience is required. All course study materials in the form of a home study pack, including a training log, dive tables and a manual are included in the course price and are yours to keep for future reference. Courses are run over two consecutive Sundays every month from 9:30am to 7:00pm with a lunch break. Academics begin at 9:30 with a review of the home study with your instructor. At 4:00pm your pool session starts at one of our indoor training venues, finishing at 7:00pm. To complete the course there are four open water dives to be taken over two days at one of the UK outdoor training centres, to be arranged at your convenience. PRICE ..........
Note: To participate in an Open Water Course you must be reasonably fit, able to swim 200 metres and tread water for 10 minutes. You will also need to complete a self-assessment medical questionnaire.
Adventure Diver / Advanced Open Water The Adventure in Diving Programme offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives listed below you earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep Diver, Underwater Navigation and three other Adventure Dives, for a total of five, you earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. After your fives dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you understand the underwater environment better. The Adventure Dives are:

Emergency First Response is an innovative CPR/first aid program. Primary Care (CPR) prepares you to render aid to those with life-threatening emergencies. Secondary Care (first aid) builds upon the lessons of Primary Care and helps you assist those in need when Emergency Medical Services are either delayed or unavailable. Additionally, we now offer AED training, at no extra cost, to massively increase your chances of saving someone with certain heart problems. All of the skills which you'll learn could be useful today , in any walk of life, not just in diving! PRICE ..........£65.00
Rewarding and fun - that best describes the Rescue Diver Course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of others. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. Diver Rescue training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Master Scuba Diver certification denotes you've reached the highest recreational diver level in the PADI system of diver education. Master Scuba Diver indicates you have a significant amount of training and experience in a variety of dive environments. To be a Master Scuba Diver you will need to have Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver certification plus your 5 specialty dives. You will develop your water skills and academic knowledge including dive planning, control and supervising students and dive management. You will be required to complete many exercises including 15 minute tread water, diver rescue assessment and underwater mapmaking. This qualification is normally required to work as a dive guide and is a pre-requisite for becoming and instructor. PRICE .......... £350 with materials / £250 without materials
Specialty courses can be gained as certifications by themselves or 5 can be combined together for a Master Scuba Diver qualification.
